At a Glance
To help new employees better understand the emergency procedures at Indiana County Technology Center, students in the Digital Media program developed a video that covers what new employees read in their emergency procedures booklet. Knowing that not all new employees may read the booklet in its entirety, the administration wanted to create the video as an additional means to communicate the important information to staff members. The narrated video, which was created during the 2016-2017 school year and runs for about 15 minutes, includes examples of how employees should conduct the various procedures described in the booklet. The video project granted Digital Media students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a relevant and hands-on learning experience.
